ADMIRAL (RTD) TAN SRI DATO’ SERI ABU BAKAR ABDUL JAMAL
Admiral (R) Tan Sri Abu Bakar Abdul Jamal graduated at the BRITANNIA Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, United Kingdom in 1968 and received his royal commission as a Sub-Lieutenant in the Royal Malaysian Navy. During his 38 years of service he has held various appointments both at sea and ashore culminating in the position as Chief of Navy in 1998.
At various times during his career he has also attended courses and training at several institutions world wide of which some notable ones were – US Navy Post-Graduate School Monterey California, USA, Royal Naval Staff College Greenwich, UK, Wolfson College, Cambridge University, UK and the Royal College of Defence Studies. UK. Apart from his vast experience in strategic and tactical maritime security issues at the national, regional and international levels, he also has extensive experience in human resource, logistics, inventory and project development and management. Currently he either chairs or sits on the boards of many private limited companies including a few of his own.
DENGAN NAMA ALLAH YANG MAHA PENGASIH LAGI PENYAYANG, UCAPAN SELAWAT & SALAM BUAT NABI MUHAMMAD S.A.W SERTA KELUARGA BAGINDA Assalamualaikum ILMU (KNOWLEDGE), AMAL (PRACTICE), IMAN (CONVICTION) AND AKAL (COGNITIVE INTELLIGENCE) are the basis of this blog that was derived from the AKAR concept of ILMU, AMAL, AKAL and IMAN.From this very basic concept of Human Capital, the theme of this blog is developed i.e. ILMU AMAL JARIAH which coincidentally matches with the initials of my name IAJ.
