The International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) lecturer is expected to give his statement to police today.
The media quoted him as saying the Sultan's action of intervening in the issue was “unconventional”.
The Sultan had issued a statement last week that there were attempts to proselytise Muslims, but no group should be prosecuted over the controversial church search in August.

What is there to investigate?
The sultan make a comment, sure if it make sense fine, but others are entitled to their opinions too.
He is not God or anything Divine. He is what he his by accident of birth. Why should people quiver everytime he opens his mouth? The PDRM got nowt else to investigate? ..

The following is pure fiction.
There is a country in the far east call Bolehland. Bolehland are ruled by tyrants who called themselves Umporno. Not only members of the ruling Umporno cruel, they also stole money from the people and whatever wealth the nation's have will end up in Umporno's treasure chest locally or overseas.
In Bolehland, majority of the people are the "Sons of Soil". In the 60's up to the 80's Bolehland have a Royalty but the scheming Umporno Chief whipped up the peoples' sentiment that the Royalty is good for nothing freeloader. The Umporno Chief is not even the son of soil but he is very good in manipulating the Sons of Soil. The Umporno Chief also said that the people will have to be brave and challenge the Royalty like the Sons of soil's legendary hero called Hang Sebat. Hang Sebat was adored by the Sons of Soil for his bravery in fighting injustice. Legend has it that Hang Sebat walks into the palace, get rid of the Royalty and fornicated with the Royalty's concubines. Hail. . ., to Hang Sebat, said the Sons of soil for showing the Royalty what justice and manhood means!
When the Umporno Chief saw the people are with him, he took the opportunity to strip naked the Royalty's immunity and many of the King's power. Since then, the King is like a toothless tiger.
Fast forward to the millennium. Despite have less power, the Royalty are now being fed by Umporno. But then, Umporno still dictates the Royalty what to do and what not to do. In lieu for the Royalty's obedience, Umporno still retains the Royalty as the Head of religion of the state. Whomever in Bolehland wishes to be a religious preacher should obtain the written permission from the Royalty. Then again, the religious matter in which the Royalty are supposed to oversee was actually being controlled by Umporno's religious department called JAIS, named after a popular singer, Ahmad Jais. So whatever the Royalty's decreed about religious matter actually came from Umporno's JAIS office. In actual terms, the Royalty still remains a toothless tiger and a freeloader.
Now, in order to keep the people in line, the Umporno party wants people to think that the Royalty is "maksum" or free of sins and no one should questioned the Royalty's behavior (or misbehaviors such as drinking, gambling and adultry) . Anybody who questions the Royalty (except for Umporno) will be severely punished.
This is the story of Bolehland, a country with so many contradictory. Long live Dr. Bari. . ., the new Hang Sebat in the making! ...

It may be simplistic and unhelpful to lump all Malays/Royalty as one for at least close to half if not more Malays do not support UMNO brand of philosophy and politics.
Secondly, I am sure most of you know by now that communique from the palace "prepared" by "UMNO" appointees and in most cases if not all, the Sultan/King have little leverage. Rightly or wrongly we can thank Dr. M for this. No two ways about it "UMNO" will use the monarchy to such ends they see fit. ...

You can say this but I think I gave up on Malay's royalty. So far, they proved to me they are Kings for Malays and not Malaysian. Sadly, if they are smart they need to protect Malays culture and promote it not Malay as a race. That way other race will gravitate to it and keep Malay culture acceptable to everyone including the royal family. However, as usual we have so many selfish and stupid people in power. Sometime I wonder do they even think about their actions impact on future of Malaysia. ...
